Yes — our portraits are handcrafted using a 6-layer acrylic scratch technique. Light, natural scratch marks are a normal characteristic of this art form, not defects. They cannot be replicated by machines and are what make each piece truly unique.
Our artists achieve 90%+ similarity in composition and likeness. However, due to the hand-drawn and hand-carved nature of the work, minor differences in fine lines, expression, and texture are normal. Customers seeking pixel-perfect replication should order with caution.
Colors may vary slightly due to: (1) differences in screen brightness, color temperature, and saturation across devices; (2) the unique optical properties of layered acrylic material; (3) subtle variations in hand-painting and coloring. Physical product color is the reference standard.
